At the upcoming Annual Meeting we plan to have a slide show of what has been going on with the lake, including the events that led up to our complaint against Delta Construction for their pollution of the lake that has resulted in the massive algae blooms over the past two to three years. We will also have a status report on the ongoing litigation.
We will ask the membership’s concurrence for the Board of Directors to approve Associate Memberships to those residents who live along Keolu and the wetlands outside of the ELRA lake boundary. Some of our most active lake supporters live in this area and we are anxious to have their Associate Membership. Our current By-laws require this membership approval.
The board has been doing research into the titles of the properties around the lake as a precursor to rewriting and updating the Articles of Incorporation, By-Laws and Covenants. This work is ongoing, and we will have a status report.
We will have nominations and voting for new ELRA board members to replace those who are leaving the board.
