Enchanted Lake Residents Association, Board Meeting March 6, 2012

A quorum was declared and the meeting was called to order at 7:10pm
Approval of Minutes The amended minutes from the February 16, 2012 meeting were reviewed and approved as corrected.
Financial Report The profit and loss statement and balance statement were reviewed.
The board was in Executive Session from 7:20pm to 9:20pm.
Lake Health/Siphon project/City Permit/Berm Opening Bob took a representative from the Division of Aquatic Resources out on the Lake. He suggested that using a trash pump to suck up algae might be successful. Bob is looking into ideas to market the algae.
The siphon contract was signed and should start this summer.
Development of wetland property adjacent to Kaelepulu Stream The Army Corp of Engineers is reviewing the wetland determination report. Cindy shared pictures from recent rains of the area under water. Bob has contacted the developer.
Amendments and By-laws Re-do Former board member, David Bangert has offered to review the revised by-laws. Sue will work on rewriting the by-laws to reflect comments made by residents.

Newsletter An e-newsletter went out with good feedback. 50% of those receiving the newsletter opened it the first day.
Old Business
The lake meter should be fixed in the next month.
Rep Chris Lee has included three million dollars in the budget for improvement of Windward water systems.
KNB Bob will attend the April 5th meeting.
New Business
The board was asked to consider appointing Bob Sanders to the board.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:50pm
